Trout aren’t the only fruit

Just five minutes walk down the road we have a gravel pit dug in the 1920’s, it’s now a prime carp fishing venue: however in the depths -and shallows come February and spawning time- pike lurk which are great fun to catch on outlandishly garish concoctions of tinsel and the like.
